RED WINE | 750ML | ITALY | 2016 | 14%
In San Marzano, vine growers take care of their small vineyards as if they were gardens. Their stories are numerous, as are the names of their families. We have chosen one name, Talò, to thank each and every family and pay homage to each story.
San Marzano, Salento, Puglia. At about 100 meters above sea level.
Medium clay texture, shallow and with good skeletal soil.
Espalier (5,000 vines per hectare).
Second week of September.
Thermo-controlled maceration for about 10 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts.
In French and American oak barriques for 6 months.
Ruby red colur enriched with violet hues; opulent bouquet, which hints at ripe cherries and plums, with pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla; a wine with a remarkable structure, softened by the soothing warmth of the Primitivo grape; the finish offers notes of persistent sweetness.
