Les Cés vineyard is located in the upper Hérault Valley. Protected by the Cévennes mountains, it enjoys a unique pebble soil and optimum rainfall level. The result is an aromatic character with intense and complex flavors, and velvety tannins.
20% of the wine has been aged in oak barrels for six months.
Intense deep purple color with purple tints. At first intense blackberry note followed by truffle and mocha notes. Violette and floral flavors are adding to the complexity of the wine. Full bodied, opulent with velvety tannins. Blackcurrant flavors on the middle palate, licorice flavors on the finish. Long and soft finish. Will go well with beef stews, game, grilled red meat, pasta Bolognese, medium flavored and hard cheeses.
